Jessica has been in the wastewater industry since 2015 and is currently at the Water Pollution Control Facility in Las Vegas as an Environmental Systems Technician III. As an Environmental Systems Technician, she performs daily rounds, process shutdowns, and mechanical repairs. She holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Grade III license in the state of Nevada.
Jessica is also a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. She served 7 years and did 2 tours in Afghanistan. During her time in the Air Force, she was an Aircraft Electrical and Environmental systems journeyman. As a journeyman, she was responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining aircraft wiring, flight controls, air conditioning, pressurization, fire warning and extinguishing, and the oxygen system. After her time in the military, she worked for Boeing as a Technical Data Designer where she was responsible for designing avionics/electrical maintenance manuals.
Jessica is married and a mother of 3 girls. She has twins who are in elementary school and an 11 year old. On her free time, Jessica plays on multiple coed softball teams and loves to hike and camp.
