WEF Stormwater Initiative
WEF has established a Stormwater Task Force, with a goal of proposing a plan, including strategies and actions, which will result in WEF becoming a ‘Go to Source’ for stormwater utility managers and other stormwater professionals within five years.
Global Task Force
WEF has appointed a task force to develop a five year business plan with near and long‐term strategies and actions to accomplish the objectives of increasing the global content of WEF products, programs and activities for the benefit of current members and to expand global participation and membership in WEF.
National Onsite Wastewater Recycling Organization (NOWRA)
WEF is exploring an opportunity to partner with NOWRA to leverage combined resources to support both organization’s common missions and to better meet technical and educational needs related to decentralized systems and onsite treatment option.
MA Outreach Project Update
The WEF MA Outreach Project has progressed well. 44 of the 45 North American MAs, including NWEA, have held conference calls discuss with WEF staff, and a report has been distributed to the Board, the House, and the WEF staff. The Board of Trustees, the House WEF/MA Relationship work group, and the WEF staff will work together to determine priorities and develop an implementation plan.
Water for People (WFP)
WEF continued its commitment to Water for People with a contribution of $50,000 to support the vision of a world where all people have access to safe drinking water and sanitation

The WEF Board of Trustees is the governing body of WEF and holds legal authority and fiduciary responsibility on behalf of WEF and its membership.
