Certification Board
The Nevada Board of Certification for Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators is operated for the State of Nevada by the Nevada Water Environment Association (NWEA).
In addition to the mandatory program for Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators, the Board administers voluntary certification programs for Laboratory Analysts, Industrial Waste Inspectors, Industrial Waste Operators, and Collection System Operators.
The Board is appointed by the Executive Board of the NWEA to three-year terms. All of the Board members are volunteers.
